213 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ لِحَرَمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ، وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ» قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَهَذَا مِمَّا لَمْ يَكُنْ يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ سُفْيَانُ قَدِيمًا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ فَوَقَفْنَاهُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: With these two hands of mine, I applied perfume to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at the time when he put on the Ihram, and I applied perfume to him at the time when he opened his Ihram before performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah.
Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: Sufyan did not initially narrate this report from Zuhri; once we pointed this out to him, he said: I have heard this from Zuhri.
