Hadith 203
203 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: حَاضَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَيٍّ بَعْدَ مَا أَفَاضَتْ فَذَكَرْتُ حَيْضَتَهَا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ «أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ» فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا حَاضَتْ بَعْدَ مَا أَفَاضَتْ، قَالَ: «فَلْتَنْفُرْ»
Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Lady Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her) experienced menstruation after performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah. She mentioned her menstruation to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Will we have to stay because of this?" I said: O Messenger of Allah! She got her period after performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then she may depart."
