Narration on Bathing from One Vessel and Leaving Water
Hadith 168
168 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتَ: «كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ» وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ لِي «أَبْقِ لِي، أَبْقِ لِي»
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same vessel. Sometimes he (peace be upon him) would say to me: "Leave some (water) for me, leave some for me."
