Narration on Bathing from One Vessel and a Large Tub
Hadith 159
159 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ: ثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا تَقُولُ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْتَسِلُ فِي الْقَدَحِ وَهُوَ الْفَرَقُ وَكُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَهُوَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ»
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) from a vessel, that is, a large tub. I and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same container.
