Second Narration on the Specific Ruling of Breaking Tamattu’ Hajj
Hadith 135
135 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَي بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الْمُرَقَّعِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا كَانَ فَسْخُ الْحَجِّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَنَا خَاصَّةً»
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The command to break (convert) Hajj (into Hajj Tamattu‘) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was specific for us.
