Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when this verse was revealed: "Then you will surely be questioned about the blessings," I submitted: O Messenger of Allah! About which blessings will we be questioned? Whereas we only have these two things: dates and water. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This will certainly happen." Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The narrator named Sufyan has sometimes narrated these words as being from Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), while at other times he has narrated these words as being from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), then he said that Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said this.
