Guidance that ablution suffices for discharge of madhy
Hadith 39
39 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَي مِنْبَرِ الْكُوفَةِ يَقُولُ: «كُنْتُ أَجِدُ مِنَ الْمَذْيِ شِدَّةً» فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَتِ ابْنَتُهُ عِنْدِي فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ، فَأَمَرْتُ عَمَّارًا فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّمَا يَكْفِي مِنْهُ الْوُضُوءُ»
Aish bin Anas narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this from the pulpit of Kufa. My madhi (pre-seminal fluid) used to come out in abundance. I wanted to ask the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about this, but since the daughter of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was my wife, I felt shy to ask him directly. So I instructed Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Yasir, and he asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about it. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "It is sufficient to perform wudu (ablution) upon its emission."
