105/م- قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ، وَالَّذِي حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ لِأَنَّهُ أَحْفَظُ مِنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ
The above narration is also transmitted with another chain. (
Imam Humaydi, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narration that Abdul Karim has narrated to us is more beloved to us, although compared to the narrator named Abu Sa’d, he is a greater memorizer.
