Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When any person wakes up from sleep, he should not put his hand into the vessel until he has washed it three times, because he does not know where his hand spent the night."
