945 - قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «فِي الْإِنْسَانِ مُضْغَةٌ، إِذَا هِيَ صَلُحَتْ وَسَلِمَتْ سَلِمَ لَهَا سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ، وَصَحَّ، وَإِذَا هِيَ سَقِمَتْ سَقِمَ لَهَا سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ وَفَسَدَ، وَهِيَ الْقَلْبُ»
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “There is a piece of flesh in the body; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. That is the heart.”
