Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Among my companions, in terms of rank and status, the most enviable believer to me is the one whose burden on his back is light (that is, who has little wealth and few dependents), who performs many voluntary prayers, even if he is not well-known among the people. When death comes to him, there are few to weep over him and his inheritance is also little."
