929 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قال: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ الثَّقَفِيَّ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أُمَّ قَوْمَكَ وَاقْدُرْهُمْ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ، فَإِنَّ مِنْهُمُ الْكَبِيرَ وَالضَّعِيفَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ»
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Abu al-As Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Lead your people in prayer and take into consideration the weakest among them, for among the people are the elderly, the weak, and those who have work to do."
