927 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْرَجَ، يُحُدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، قَالَ: «صَلَّي بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً أَظُنُّ أَنَّهَا الْعَصْرُ، فَقَامَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ، وَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ» .
Sayyiduna Ibn Buhayna (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in a prayer—I think it was the ‘Asr prayer—so after performing two rak‘ahs, he stood up and did not sit down. Then, at the end of the prayer, before saying the salam, he performed the prostration of forgetfulness (sajdah sahw) twice.
