The son of Tawus narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) appointed Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) as an official to collect Zakat, then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him: "O Abu Walid! Try to avoid coming on the Day of Resurrection carrying a camel on your neck which is making noise, or carrying a cow on your neck which is mooing, or carrying a goat on your neck which is bleating." He said: O Messenger of Allah! Will it really be like that? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Yes." Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: By the One Who sent you with the truth, I will never again do (government work) even for two people.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit: From this hadith, it is understood that the duty of a guardian is very strict. Whatever type of theft a person commits in this world, on the Day of Judgment that very thing will be mounted upon his neck and will be speaking in its own voice. It is unfortunate that nowadays we seek those very jobs in which there is more deception, fraud, and dishonesty. May Allah have mercy on the Muslim Ummah, ameen.
