Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Hasnah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was urinating while sitting, and he had screened himself with a shield. Some people said: This man is urinating in the manner that a woman urinates. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The condition of the Children of Israel was such that when urine would get on their clothes, they would cut it out with scissors. One of their companions forbade them from this, so he was punished in his grave."
