891 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ الَّذِي بِظَهْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَأَنَّهُ جُمْعٌ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: «مِثْلُ الْحَجَمَةِ الضَّخْمَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Seal of Prophethood on the back of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which was like a closed fist. The narrator named Sufyan has reported these words: It was like the tool used for cupping.
