862 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، قَالَ: أُثْبِتَ لِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ وَلِغَيْرِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا اتَّقَي كَهَاتَيْنِ» وَأَشَارَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ بِإِصْبَعِهِ
Ismail bin Umayyah narrates: This narration has reached me, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I and the one who takes care of an orphan, whether the orphan is from his own family or from another family, and that person is careful regarding him, we both will be in Paradise like this." Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) indicated with his two fingers.
