Narrated Imran ibn Husayn: The Prophet ﷺ said: No spell is to be used except for the evil eye or a scorpion sting.

Benefits and Issues: In other authentic narrations, these words are found: that ruqyah (incantation) is for the evil eye, fever, or a poisonous sting. Furthermore, it is established from authentic ahadith that ruqyah, which consists of the Names of Allah and prescribed supplications, is beneficial for all ailments. Their importance and effectiveness are greater in cases of the evil eye and poisonous stings.
