Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ten individuals from the Quraysh are in Paradise: I am in Paradise, Abu Bakr is in Paradise, Umar is in Paradise, Uthman is in Paradise, Ali is in Paradise, Zubair is in Paradise, Talha is in Paradise, Abdur Rahman bin Awf is in Paradise, and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas is in Paradise." (The narrator says) Then Sayyiduna Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) fell silent, so the people asked: Who is the tenth person? Sayyiduna Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: I am.

Benefit:
In this hadith, nine individuals are mentioned; the tenth is Sayyiduna Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah radi Allahu anhu. These ten noble Companions radi Allahu anhum ajma‘in are called the “Asharah Mubasharah” (the ten who were given glad tidings), and all of them were from the Quraysh. These ten noble Companions radi Allahu anhum ajma‘in are superior to all other Companions. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, on various occasions, declared numerous Companions to be destined for Paradise, and in fact, all the Companions radi Allahu anhum ajma‘in are destined for Paradise. There are countless evidences for this in the Qur’an and Hadith. One such evidence is that «رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه». Whoever Allah is pleased with will enter Paradise, and Allah, the Lord of Majesty, is pleased with all the Companions, and all praise is due to Allah. In addition, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, on a single occasion while standing on Mount Hira, enumerated the names of these ten noble Companions radi Allahu anhum ajma‘in, declaring that these individuals are destined for Paradise. The order mentioned in this hadith, which is established from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, is what we have faith in. The first Caliph is Sayyiduna Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu, the second Caliph is Sayyiduna Umar radi Allahu anhu, the third Caliph is Sayyiduna Uthman ibn Affan radi Allahu anhu, and the fourth Caliph is Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu anhu. According to the research of the writer, nothing contrary to this order is established in any hadith; rather, even when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned the names of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar radi Allahu anhuma, he mentioned Sayyiduna Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu first, then Sayyiduna Umar radi Allahu anhu. It is not correct to differ from this order.
