827 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَبِي صَفِيَّةَ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللَّحْدُ لَنَا، وَالشَّقُّ لِغَيْرِنَا»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us, “The method of the lahd (side niche) is for us, and the method of the shaqq (simple trench) is for others.”
