Saeed bin Jubair says: There is no one more patient than Allah Almighty when it comes to hearing hurtful things. People call upon His partners, yet He still provides them with sustenance. He grants them well-being. A’mash says: It was said to Saeed bin Jubair, “O Abdullah! From whom did you hear this narration?” He replied: “I will not speak falsely. Abu Abdur Rahman Sulami narrated it from Abu Musa Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him), who narrated it from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).”
