Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated as a “marfu’” hadith up to the pulpit of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) asked his Lord. He said: O my Lord! Who will be the person of the lowest rank in Paradise in terms of status and position?” Allah Almighty said: “He will be a person who will come after the people of Paradise have already entered Paradise. He will be told: Enter Paradise. While the people of Paradise will have reached their places and settled in their designated abodes, Allah Almighty will say to him: Are you not pleased that you will be given as much space (in Paradise) as a king had in the world?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “That person will say: O my Lord! Yes, I am pleased with that.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then it will be said to him: “You will have this and the like of it (more), and the like of it (more), and the like of it (more), and the like of it (more).” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “That person will say: O my Lord! I am pleased.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then it will be said to that person: “You will have this and ten times as much (more space with it),” so he will say: “O my Lord! I am pleased.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It will be said to him: Along with this, you will have everything your soul desires and that which delights your eyes.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) said: “O Lord! Who will have the highest rank in Paradise?” Allah Almighty will say: “Do you wish for that? I will tell you about those people. I have planted the tree of their honor with My own Hand of Power and I have sealed it, so no eye has seen it, no ear has heard of it, and no human mind has ever conceived of it.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is confirmation of this in the Book of Allah (the Exalted) (the statement of Allah the Exalted is) «فَلاتَعْلَمُنَفْسٌمَاأُخْفِيَلَهُمْمِنْقُرَّةِأَعْيُنٍ» (32-as-Sajda:14) “No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.”

Benefit: In this hadith, the Paradise of the lowest-ranking inhabitant of Paradise is mentioned—Subhan Allah. How much Allah loves His servants and how generous my Lord is! In this hadith, the blessings of the Lord upon the lowest inhabitant of Paradise are described. From this, one can imagine the status of the Paradise of the most excellent inhabitants. O Allah, grant us poor ones, our teachers, our parents, and our families Jannat al-Firdaws as well. Ameen.

´Narrated Ash-Sha'bi:` "While he was on the Minbar, I heard Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah saying - and he attributed it to the Prophet (ﷺ) - 'Indeed Musa [peace be upon him] asked his Lord: "O Lord! Who is the lowest in rank among the people of Paradise?" He said: "A man who comes after the people of Paradise have been admitted to Paradise, and he is told to enter. He says: 'How can I enter when they have gotten all of their abodes, and all that is to be had?'" He said: "So it is said to him: 'Would you accept if you were to have what a king in the world?' He says: 'Yes, O Lord! I accept.' So it is said to him: 'Then for you is this and its like, and its like again, and its like again.' So he says: 'I accept, O Lord!' So it is said to him: 'Then for you is this and ten the like thereof.' So he says: 'I accept, O Lord!' So it is said: 'Indeed you shall have this, and whatever your soul desires, and whatever delights your eyes.'"
