Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The Hour will not be established until two large groups of Muslims fight each other, and both will have the same claim. The one who is closer to the truth will be the one who prevails. While they are in this state, a group will emerge from among them who will leave the religion just as an arrow passes through its target.”
