Hadith 760
760 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَأْتِي عَلَي النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ، فَيَغْزُو فِيهِ فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَيُقَالُ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَحِبَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَيُقَالُ: نَعَمْ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي عَلَي النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ، فَيَغْزُو فِيهِ فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَحِبَ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ: نَعَمْ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي عَلَي النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ، فَيَغْزُو فِيهِ فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَيُقَالُ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَحِبَ مَنْ صَاحَبَ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَيُقَالُ: نَعَمْ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ "
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) told me this, that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A time will come upon the people when many will participate in battle, and it will be said: 'Is there anyone among you who is a companion of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?' It will be answered: 'Yes,' and those people will be granted victory. Then a time will come upon the people when many will go to participate in battle, and it will be asked of them: 'Is there anyone among you who has served the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them)?' They will be answered: 'Yes,' and they too will be granted victory. Then a time will come upon the people when many will go to fight, and it will be asked: 'Is there anyone among you who has met the companions of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?' It will be answered: 'Yes,' and they too will be granted victory."
