743 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا يَحْيَي بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَمِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا عَدِيَّ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ: " سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ. قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: زَادَ مِسْعَرٌ: فَمَا سَمِعْتُ إِنْسَانًا أَحْسَنَ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ "

Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah At-Tin in the Maghrib prayer. Sufyan says: The narrator named Mas’ar has reported these words: I have not heard anyone recite better than the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
