Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on the pulpit, so I moved closer to him in order to hear his statement, but before I could reach him, he descended from the pulpit. I asked the people: What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say? They informed me: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) dubba’ and muzaffat.
