Nafi’ narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) gave the iqamah for prayer at the place of “Dajnan” on a rainy night, then he said: You people should perform the prayer at your place of residence. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), on a rainy night or on an extremely cold night with strong wind blowing, used to instruct his mu’adhdhin to announce: “Beware! Perform the prayer at your place of residence.”
