714 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَيُّوبُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَهُ مَالٌ يُوصَي فِيهِ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهِ لَيْلَتَانِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not befitting for any Muslim who has property about which a will can be made, that two nights should pass without his will being written and kept with him."
