Awsat bin Ismail Bajali narrates about Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he heard Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: Last year, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood at this very place, then he (i.e., Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “It is obligatory upon you to adopt truthfulness, for it is with righteousness, and both of them will be in Paradise. And it is obligatory upon you to avoid lying, for it is with sins, and both of them will be in Hellfire. You people should ask Allah Almighty for well-being, for no servant has been given anything after certainty that is better than well-being.” The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: “Do not cut off relations with one another, do not turn your backs on one another, do not bear anger against one another, do not envy one another, be servants of Allah and brothers to one another.”
