Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore a gold ring, then he removed it, then he wore a silver ring whose stone was also made of silver. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would keep its stone towards the palm of his hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had “Muhammad Rasul Allah” engraved on it, and he forbade anyone from engraving in the same manner. This is the same ring that fell into the well of “Arees” from Sayyiduna Mu’ayqib (may Allah be pleased with him).
