Salim narrates from his father: I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performing two rak‘ahs after Jumu‘ah. I saw him performing two rak‘ahs before Zuhr, and two rak‘ahs after Zuhr, and two rak‘ahs after Maghrib, and two rak‘ahs after ‘Isha’ (performing the Sunnah). Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I have been informed of this, although I did not see it myself, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform two rak‘ahs after the break of dawn.
