Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting: "Here I am, O Allah! Here I am. There is no partner for You. Here I am. Surely, all praise and blessings are for You, and the sovereignty as well. There is no partner for You." The narrator states: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to add these words: "Here I am, here I am, here I am. Success can only be attained from You. Here I am. Goodness is in Your hand. Here I am." (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) "It is in both Your hands." Sufyan also used to say in this way: "Here I am. Turning in desire is only towards You, and action can only be done by Your ability or it returns to You."
