‘Amir bin Sa’d narrates from his respected father Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The greatest sinner among the Muslims is the one who asks about something which was not forbidden, and then because of his questioning, it is declared forbidden for the people.”
