Salim bin Abdullah narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “There are five kinds of animals for which there is no sin upon the one who kills them, whether in the Haram or outside it: the crow, the kite, the scorpion, the rat, and the rabid dog.” Sufyan was told: Mu’ammar has narrated this from Zuhri, from ‘Urwah, from Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), so he said: By Allah! Zuhri has narrated this from Salim, from his father. He has not narrated it from ‘Urwah, from Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
