624 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ أَحَدَكُمُ امْرَأَتُهُ إِلَي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا يَمْنَعْهَا» ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: «يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ بِاللَّيْلِ»
Salim narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When a man's wife asks his permission to go to the mosque, he should not prevent her." Sufyan says: The scholars are of the opinion that this ruling is regarding the night.
