Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who merely reciprocates is not the one who maintains the ties of kinship. The one who truly maintains the ties of kinship is he who, when his ties are severed, still upholds the rights of kinship."
