Hadith 599

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Those who act justly will be on pulpits of light in the presence of Allah Almighty on the Day of Resurrection, to the right of the Most Merciful, and both His hands are right. These are the people who were not appointed as rulers (i.e., governors or judges), but they act justly in their decisions and with their families.”

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit:
In this hadith, the virtue of every person who acts justly with those under his authority is mentioned—one who does not oppress or wrong anyone, and indeed, oppression is absolutely forbidden. We believe that both hands of Allah, the Exalted, are right hands; we do not know their modality (kayfiyyah), rather, we say: as befits the majesty of Allah, the Exalted.
