Hadith 597

597 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثَنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرْ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا، وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy to our young ones and does not recognize the rights of our elders, has no connection with us."
