Sayyiduna Umar bin Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was a young boy under the care of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). (Once while eating) my hand was moving around in the dish, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O boy! Eat in the name of Allah. Eat with your right hand and eat from what is in front of you." Sayyiduna Umar bin Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: After that, this remained my way of eating.
