565 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعَمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وَأنَا أَحْمَدُ، وَأنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يُمْحَي بِيَ الْكُفْرُ، وَأنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَي قَدَمِي، وَأنَا الْعَاقِبُ وَالْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدَهُ»
Muhammad bin Jubair narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "I have some names: I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am Maahi (the one who erases). Through me, disbelief has been erased. I am Haashir, people will be gathered at my feet. I am 'Aaqib, the 'Aaqib (the last one) after whom there will be no prophet."
