549 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنَ فَهْمٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَنَحَرَ لَنَا جَزُورًا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُلْقِي اللَّحْمَ» قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ»
Mus'ar bin Kidam narrates: A man from the Fahm tribe stated that we were present with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) at Muzdalifah. He had a camel slaughtered for us. Then Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Meat used to be presented to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he also mentioned that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The purest meat in the flesh is the meat of the back."

In this hadith, meat is mentioned, stating that the best part of the meat is the back. In Sunan Ibn Majah (3308), this hadith appears as: "People were presenting meat to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)." However, this narration is weak; in its chain of transmission is Muhammad ibn Abdur Rahman Madani, who is unknown. See [الضعيفه : 2813]
