Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Qur'an was being revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he used to move his tongue along with it in order to memorize it. Allah Almighty then revealed this verse: «لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ» "Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it. Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation."
