Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a person, before having intercourse with his wife, recites this supplication: 'In the name of Allah, seeking blessing from Him. O Allah, keep us away from Satan and keep Satan away from what You provide for us (i.e., offspring),' (the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him, says): if it is decreed that they have a child as a result of this union, Satan will not be able to harm that child in any way."
