Hadith 487

487 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِدَلُوٍ مِنْ زَمْزَمَ فَنُزِعَ لَهُ فَشَرِبَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ»

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). By his order, a bucket of Zamzam water was drawn. He (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it while standing.
