Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held my shin (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) or the lower part of his own shin and said: "This is the place to keep the lower garment. If you do not accept, then let it be a little lower than this. If you do not accept, then let it be a little lower than this as well. If you do not accept, then below the ankles, the lower garment has no right."
