Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit:
The importance of good dreams is established from this hadith. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Nothing remains of prophethood except glad tidings.” The people asked: “O Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), what are glad tidings?” He (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) replied: “Good dreams.” (Sahih al-Bukhari: 6990) Furthermore, under the worldly glad tidings mentioned in this verse, many things are included, such as: abundance of lawful (halal) provision, the angels giving glad tidings at the time of death, love being placed in the hearts of people, acceptance of supplications, and so on.
