Hafsa bint Sirin narrates from a woman on the authority of her sister: Her husband participated in ten battles with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and she herself participated in six battles with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). That woman says: We women used to give medicine to the wounded and take care of the sick. That woman says: I asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): Would there be any sin on any one of us (women) if she does not have a cloak and therefore does not participate in the Eid prayer? The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Her sister should let her wear something from her own cloak, but that woman should participate in Eid and in the supplication of the Muslims."
