Lady Umm Karz Ka'biyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Prophethood has ended and glad-tiding dreams remain."

Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Sufyan, for a long time, narrated this report as a mursal hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the authority of the narrator named 'Ubaydullah. Then he narrated this report from its father, on the authority of the narrator named Saba', from Lady Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her). Then he mentioned that at first he had abandoned its chain of transmission, and later he established it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit:
This hadith proves that the door of prophethood is closed, and "mubashshirat" refers to good dreams, because through them Allah, the Exalted, informs the believer of a forthcoming blessing or warns him of an impending calamity, so that the person may supplicate and take measures to avoid it.

Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues:

Our Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is the last Prophet.
Therefore, it is no longer possible to benefit directly from prophethood.

True dreams are called "mubashshirat" (glad tidings).
Because through them, Allah, the Exalted, informs the believer of a forthcoming blessing or warns him of an impending calamity, so that the person may supplicate and take precautionary measures to avoid it.

Most dreams are such that they require interpretation.
However, some dreams occur exactly as they are seen.
For example, when the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) saw himself performing ‘umrah with his companions, then in the following year, ‘umrah was performed in exactly the same manner.

Prophethood has ended, so there will be no prophethood after me except for glad tidings. It was asked: What are glad tidings? He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: A good dream which a man sees or which is shown to him.
