Hadith 322
322 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ: ثنا بِشْرٌ قَالَ: ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ الْمُنْذِرِ تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ تَقُولُ: إِنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «حُتِّيهِ ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ رُشِّيهِ بِالْمَاءِ وَصَلِّي فِيهِ»
Fatimah bint Munzir narrates: She heard Sayyidah Asma bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) saying: A woman asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about menstrual blood that gets on clothes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Scrape it off, then wash it with water, then sprinkle water over it, and then pray in it."
