321 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ الْمُنْذِرِ تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُتَشَبِّعُ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَلْ كَلَابِسِ ثَوْبَيْ زُورٍ»
Fatimah bint Munzir narrates from her grandmother Sayyidah Asma’ (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A person who pretends to possess what he does not have is like one who wears two garments of falsehood.”
